Only update I have is with the detroits front and rear. And yes the buick is getting in 400 miles a week and it is great not having to fill up every other day. I am saving some money to purchase a welder at the end of the summer so I can get around to making a few things. On the list is tube doors, radiator support, and possibly a long arm setup (minus the subframe).

I got the herculiner done on the cladding. Here is the before pic, you can see how scratched up it was from random trees and rocks and stuff.

The actual stuff is called Durabak-18. It was a real pain in the ass to work with and it set up alot faster than I thought it would so I really didn't get to give it even coats. I may end up going over it again.

I also got my compressor mounted. It works really well for its size, pumps my 35" up from 15 psi to 30 psi in 3-4 minutes. Not bad.

For my 21st my girlfriend got me some new speakers. 6.5" Infinity Kappas, they sound awesome. With the quality sound of these I'm thinking about putting a small sub in here just for some extra oomph.

Tomorrow I am putting the same herculiner (except black) down in the rear hatch area inside. Where the seats fold down will also be covered by a large aluminum sheet, riveted to the backs of the seat, and covered in black durabak. Should look good and take more abuse than regular paint.

All done with modifying the rear fenders. I bent the lip up so my tires won't be ripping it down anymore. They pretty much self clearanced all the sheet metal so I only had to trim the stuff near the door. Now they tuck up in there nice and tight without actually rubbing anything.

So for this I cut the pinch seam and where the 2 layers of sheet metal meet, I just riveted it all back together. I stole the idea from Chadwick Jansman

and it seems to work nicely.

No serious mods lately. Awaiting the GSSE trip in a few weeks to test out a few things. Today I moved the charcoal canister under the hood so I can stop bashing it on things.

Next week I have to make a few more sets of sliders but then will finally be getting around to making those tricked out tube doors. No speaker though, I decided against it.
