There have been some concerns about the "legality" of the parts lists so I had a buddy check into it and here is what he found
" This is an Adobe Acrobat version of the older microfiche system dealers used to use. It's an official Jeep publication.
I have contacted DaimlerChrysler because there is no indication on the CD of copyright. The rep I spoke with checked with his supervisor, and the response was that as long as it's only part numbers and not proprietary information (such as new vehicle designs or new plant layouts) DCX does not object to it's being distributed"
I was able to get a sample page into a format I could post here. Take a look and let me know what you think. This particular page is for a Liberty transfer case.

p.s. Trust me mine are better than the others on ebay, I also have mine on ebay.
About the parts list and FSM for just a 98 ZJ? Could you do that?
To tell you the truth I try to just offer the FSM or the parts lists, it is either all or none. It would get pretty confusing for me to do specific years for every order.
That being said you have a PM nate.
Nothing for a 96 ZJ?
I know I know, I wish I could find one for a 96 since that is what I drive also. I have used the 97 quite a bit though for my 96 and it has been right on.
I do have the parts catalog for our 96's though.
I got my parts CD and 97 FSM the other day, both are fantastic and have already been put to good use
Definately worth the money. Especially if your like me and have different kinds of jeeps rolling through, the exploded parts diagrams are definately helpful.
Thanks Cue-Ball!!!
So is it acceptable to use a 97 one even though I've got a 96? What is different? Why isn't there one for the 96s just out of curiosity?
Glad they arrived safe Dave.
Jim,
I personally use the 97 FSM for my 96, I have not really found anything that was not accurate for my Jeep yet.
I do not know why there is no 96 manual but every source I have can not seem to dig one up. I am sure there must be one out there but hell if I can find it.
So Jim want me to get a set of CD's ready for you??
Just let me know.
Thanks Dirk for the parts list and FSM. Alot more help than the Haynes and Chiltons put together. Good price too
Okay just wanted to update the group on pricing.
The parts list CD is $10
all 3 of the FSM CD's are now just $25
You can use paypal to me at either
dirkw@ccgnapa.com
amsoildirk@yahoo.com
Any questions, hit me up here.
I just thought Id bring this to the top. If its everything I hope it is, itll be something everybody NEEDS to have. I just ordered the parts list and the FSM. Thanks Dirk!
