Who's black WJ? Is that the build from pirate 1-tonWJ or something like that? Greyjeep, your ZJ looks great.

the wj is jonathan conti's from moonworks. it's a sexy. sadly, he had some "custom" body work done this weekend to his back passenger door.

thanks man. but you may be talkin about the grey/silverish one. thats ryan's from trucks. and it looks awesome, really clean. mines the muddy one with the the front doors off haha.

Re: GSSE 2009 Photo Thread

had an great weekend, it was good to finally meet everybody. The WJ is the same one that was on pirate. Here is a list of my carnage.

broken front locker
1 busted shock
2 broken taillights
crushed rear driver door and shattered the glass
And I had alot of problems with my atlas linkage, it didn't want to shift out of low range.

but I was very happy with how well the WJ did.

Well I had a blast guys. It was great to meet all of you and I wish we had been there twice as long so we could mix up the different groups and all get to wheel together at some point.

We wheeled yesterday til 5:00 so I didn't get back in Atlanta til midnight, but it was worth it. Other than the beating my driver side tube work took in lions den, I think my only carnage of the weekend was a bent rear driveshaft yesterday on the last ledge on lower damnation.

I got some pics and video and will try to get it up soon.

oh and the tow rig is a nissan

Re: GSSE 2009 Photo Thread

Man, what a weekend. It was awesome. We had a great time with you guys and it was good to put some faces with some names.

Thanks to everyone who helped us get what we need to get TV wise on Friday. I wish we had the time to get some footage of some of you guys playing around on Lion's Den. Oh well, we got some good stuff and it should make for some good TV. Thanks Cam for letting us put you on the spot, you did good!

Carnage for me was pretty limited and minor.
1- trashed steering stabilizer
2- cracked tail light - not even busted out!
3- small dent in the LR quarter panel that I didn't even notice unit unloading the trailer last night.

I was sooooo tempted to get up sunday and wheel with some of you guys but decided it would be best to head home with what I had.

Here are some of my pics. We got video too and I'll try to get that stuff up soon.

and more...

I wish I had more pics of everyone. We ended up getting the most shots of the rigs in front or behind us on the trail.

Mason Jar was my favorite trail. Nick (Locked and Loaded) and his passenger ?, Jonathon (JConti) and Matt (MoonWorks), Joe (Slim616) and Mandy, and Casey (greyjeep93) Ronnie (UTChavok) and Brooks were a great group of guys to wheel with.

I already can't wait till next year.

I had a blast as well. It was nice actually meeting all of you that I talk to so much on here. I rode w/ Conti all weekend and I see he's already posted up his carnage list! . That's about all he talked about on the 7.5 hr ride home was how much work he had to do to upgrade/fix things that hung him up over the weekend.

Looking forward to next year already!

With his carnage list, it sounds like there is a bobbed dub-buggy in his future if he really wants to "upgrade" his broken parts.

Not to hijack, but will we be seeing the white ZJ at Big Dogs? Or you planning to ride bitch?

He's been talking about cutting it up. Think he really wants to keep it full bodied for the most part. It'll probably have to get smashed up more before he really cuts it up. That's all up to him so I'll let him comment on that. He does all his own work...just buys all his parts through me.

My ZJ probably won't be at big dogs in Sept so yes, I'll be probably ride bitch. Next time my ZJ is out on the trail...MANY changes will have been done!

Re: GSSE 2009 Photo Thread

Man I had a fantastic time and it was great to be back at a GSSE after a year away. Harlan is by far one of the most exciting places to wheel, and the group of people that I got to wheel with were great to be around on the trails. Thanks for making it a fun time. I did have a few bugs to work out on the YJ but by the end of the weekend I couldn't be happier with how it did for it's "test run". Now lookin forward to making some adjustments and heading back up there as soon as I can. Hope to see you guys back out on the trails again soon, not just at GSSE once a year!

Re: GSSE 2009 Photo Thread

we definately had the best turn out for GSSE ever..

had some pretty gnarly carnage in our group. Its not all that often you see 2 transfercases completely explode and a spun tube on a 9inch but we managed to get them all back to camp. I think it had to do with the full throttle assult required for absolutely every trail. I know i spent more time on the rev limiter this weekend than ever before.

I've got quite a few pics i'll get posted up as soon as I recover. I didn't get home until after 11 last night so Im feelin the pain today..

had a great time and can't wait for next year.
