does anyone make a set of plans or an unwelded kit for a front or rear grand bumper? seems like a great idea and ive never heard of anyone doing it. save on cash and easier to ship peices.

Chip (Iron Scorpion) just does them for XJ's so far. I've emailed him before about doing a ZJ at some point, would like to see one for our rigs. We helped ColoradoXJ weld up his XJ bumper and I really like the basic design.

You can look at my earlier thread for what not to do.

This weekend i am going to settle on a final design no matter what.

Biggest issue is how work around the small curves and pieces of metal that are under the plastic cover, or cut them away. For a brick it sure is not all straight lines.

very cool thats for the dimentions, you have pics of the finished product? by the looks of your drawing, my bumpers going to be alittle more boxy, the front face with the fairlead doesnt taper down like yours. but other than that its very simaler.
