We learned that Clayton had a belly skid now for the ZJ, so I emailed them and got a pic! He said that he has sold a 10+, but does not have a pic of one installed yet......
but this is a great pic to help you get an idea where this installs and how it ties in!
tube mount? what is tube mount?
might buy this..was gunna make mine, but this would save me hassle...actually..whole reason I didnt wanna make one is because i would have to drill and tap bolts..and with this one I would have to do the same, damnit!
Sweet!
I see they have engine skids available for them Jeeps with frames. Is he working on a prototype engine skid for ZJs?
Only engine skid I know of for a ZJ is Skid Row, but it mounts to the crossmember and stock LCA mounts.
not bad looking. Jerod and I made a belly skid for my zj
years ago. I really need an engine/granny skid more.
What's the clearance like with it?
That's the one reason I'm waiting on making a skid for my ZJ. I'd like something damn near flat.
I saw the skid at GSE last year they gave it away as a raffle prize. its really nice
Anyone know what he wants for it?
199.99 on the website.
do you need the long arms in order to use this skid?
and sub frame rails to clear the DS
the side views on that autocad drawing from clayton don't seem to be projected properly (the rear support tube)
We'd like an installed picture Joel.
Clayton gave one that was raffled off at GSE last year. Silverback got it. Since he's got a wj and not a zj...he tried to sell it on here. Didn't hear that he got much interest on it which surprised me.
Tell him to try again...people probably just didn't know what it was.
yep thats what it looks like... still want pictures, anything specific you want to know bout it? its very simple ish
