About time
A one week turn around aint to bad at all. lol
Wait, mallcrawlin is about budget boosts now?
Glad i could help zack, wasnt to big of a deal. minus the fact that it took all day and my t-case is still in the back of the DUB. no worries though ill hit it up next weekend.
I Just spent a boat load of time reading your thread. So much I even forgot which forum I was on when I when to post I was like WTF where is my Avatar.
My point , I hope you Did you forget to sealed that big factory Hole/vent on the transmission before you put on the toque converter and slapped it back up in place . did You remember to seal it up and then add a proper vent hole and fitting with a tube to higher ground so that your newly built transmission does not drink in some of that lovely swamp water that you southern boys tend to get stuck in.
And if you think it was the lack of transmission fluid cooling that was the culprit, that may be part. but the fact that you mentioned your fluid was milky tells me that you clutches were soon to fail if not already. I have learned the hard way that water dissolves the glue they use to adhere the friction material to the clutch plate.
Aside from that, Keep up the good work and thank you for your service!
Haha! It's actually thet glue that dissolves from what I've read and heard from all the wrecking yards I visited. When mine found death by water I never stopped to open it up and look lol
Meh I dont think so. When the discs are new its just paper. You can scratch it off with your finger nail. I bet the bottom most layer of paper de-laminates from the adhesive and the whole shit comes off. I have seen a ton of water logged trans and thats what it looks like.
Right on man, you'd be the one to know. Either way, tranny go BOOM lol!
No you come back here bitch I wanna argue..
LOL no soup for you!
and thats a burn
No engine yet. I wanna get rid of the pre runner stigma.
Meh?
35/15.50/15 MTR's have shipped finally.
Yes damn my fat fingers and this phone lol
So when is this POS going to be ready to wheel???
Never lol I am really hoping for june or so though.
Have you figured out on how to use the iron rock y long arm on a different axle than a 30 or tj Rubicon 44 yet I am wanting to swap front axles to go to 37s but I really don't want to cut up the arm. I figured worse case I cut the y off the main and just make a non fixed mount for it and make a whole new upper arm.
Tnt truss should work well
FUCK my transmission I got the linkage fixed but now i cant seem to get it to drive worth a shit!!! I did however install the upcountry springs i had laying around since I wanna see if I can fit my 35s on 3.5" or so
Hang in there you'll get it. 35's on 3.5" will be cool too.
