Looks real good. I like the "tube fenders". The hydro assist looks good also.

Nope, it's mounted to the steering box brace.

That figures. I had two different style coolers to choose from. Junk because they are inefficient or because they leak and/or don't hold up?

Did you ever pinpoint what that squeaking was at Windrock?

A dry front control arm joint. I had adjusted and lubed all the rear joints before that trip. Time to do the fronts.

they just don't seam to pull enough heat out.

for hydro assyst they might be OK as long as your not bouncing off the rev limiter all the time.

i have a 15" right in front of my radiator that is being cooled by a taurus 2 speed fan on high and it can't keep up. its so bad that i stopped using my rear steer because if i was on the throttle i woudl kill th epump in no time.

i will be adding a second cooler to my system. i just don't trust this style. i've been workign with PSC for three years on this and the end result is that cooler style doesn't work for high heat applications. good thing PSC has a good warranty. its their cooler from their "kit".

Ok, cool. I think I'll be in good shape as I'm not a total throttle junky and I'm just running an assist system.

Yeah, that's why I went with this style. I'll be running Royal Purple Max EZ fluid. I have heard good things about Amsoil's fluid solving foaming and overheating problems though and will try them if I have problems.

    Thanks for the input.

This is what I run in my full-hydro system. Been good so far and haven't had any issues/bubbles.

Damn man I really like the work your puttin out on this thing, it looks great! I don't know if I said this about your cage earlier, but I think you found the perfect location for that C-hoop crossbar, tucked in right at the top of the seat and bottom of the headrests. I like that A LOT, and plan to incorporate a similar placement in Andy's build

Thanks Greg. I'm trying (probably too hard) to make this a clean rig I can drive back and forth to work once a week without looking like a jungle gym and still provide some level of body protection. I should have the wheel well/fender tube protection done this week and I'll try to get the damn thing outside for some "beauty" shots with the cage and all done.

Amsoil fluid is the way to go Ryan. All the comp guys are running it and it kicks ass.

    Thanks Dirk.

Been driving the ZJ the last couple of days. Running good and ready for Harlan this weekend. There is still a short list of things to do but it should be good to go. When doing the exo portion of the cage I never could think of a way to tie in the rear of the roof rub-rail. Well, I finally know what I want to do but it won't happen until after GSSE. I also need to finish the last 20% of the frame plating.

Anyway, here are some lame driveway pics (hopefully not to be known as the "before" pics).

Good looking and fully functional don't always go together but I think you pulled it off. One of the cleanest full body grands I've seen over the years... hope it stays that way, kind of

What he said. Easily my favorite cage design in/on a ZJ so far. I was going to ask how you terminated the "roof rails" a while ago - what do you have planned?
