yeah its my dd. drive it to class everyday and three and a half hours home sometimes. honestly i was worried about running all heims but i havent had any problems. it works great. occasionaly the one on my pitman arm will squeak alittle bit if i whip it into a parking spot but other than that it's been great. no play or anything. best alternative since i couldn't afford to do high-steer in my opinion.

looks like mad fun, im pretty pissed I missed it. How was it compared to what everyone says, were there actually a pretty nice variety of trails or were they all pretty tough.

Good to see someone else posting harlan pics on here.

Chavok, the rigs in the pics could have had a good time at harlan (and hope they did). I wouldn't take a stock WK there, but moderately built grands are plenty for most of the trails.

kirby and all them said it was awesesome but thats coming from guys on 40's. but to be honest there was plenty of trails for everything. we hooked up with a club who had everything from buggies to stock yj's with 30" muds. plenty to do up there. alot more than we thought. probalby some of the best wheelin on the east coast, atleast that i've done. We actually ran some of the harder trails like can opener, lower and middle rock garden. looked at mason jar but way to wet the day we went to it. we did around 70 miles of trails and still didn't see half of everything. definitely worth the 5 hour drive up there.

honestly thats what it felt like when we first walked through it but actually a guy in a really clean 2001 tj with on 36's and chromoed d30 ran it and only got a busted door surround and some soft top rips. the drop at the beginning has a really high pucker factor. saw two rigs almost go over coming down it.

Yeah the entrance can be a little interesting your first time. Lions Den costs me a dollar of spray paint everytime because I intentionally scrape my cage down the rock on the passenger side to keep from flopping forward/driverside. That said, it's really not nearly as bad as it looks. You have to leave it in 4wd and just be ready to bump it. I think you could winch back out if you absolutely had to.

haha yeah. i told the first two guys i spotted down it to be ready to stomp it if the back end started to go over but they had atlas's in low low so it didn't do anything but rev up. they got lucky. the third guy did what you said and put his cage into the rock and rode it down like that. it was alot more stable than the first two. didn't unload. real interesting to watch.

forgot to post up pics so here are some crappy cell phone ones of the new 9" i built before spring break... the top is 1/4" flat bar and i boxed it in with 1/8". the front side is inset back so the third member can still come on and off. its completely welded and sealded off.
