So this is what I get for letting my Wife run a #5 trail...
Any body bent an LP-1 ???
& is there any way to bend it back ???
Wow, lets see some pictures of the bend.
who was spotting?
btw, bent mine to shit (LP-1 bent up and dented my rocker area in front of the rear wheel) - bent back & reinforced with gusset plate where the frame tie-in tubes are welded to the main rocker tube
LP-1 not Paragon APPROVED
edit: fixed
if i didn't have 'em - i wouldn't be able to open my doors today

That's what they're there for, no?
I'd rather put a little bend in an LP-1 than turn the door and rocker panel into a taco.
The version that uses the 2 x 2 tube to the frame rail have a lower tendency to bend. Ultimate strength would be the simple 4 x 2 versions. A lot less forces are applied to the mounts.
So alcohol was involved? Serves you fuckin' right - NO alcohol when you're operating several thousand pounds of steel and aluminum!
the joy of wheelin if it bends or breakes just gives reason to get bigger better ones . if u were closer to me id hook up with a set that dont bend. and ill replace them if they do !!! its hard to ship them due to weight
lets see some pics of the bends i have seen a 1p1 take a 3' drop with no damage to slider or unibody but i had beefed them up some . u would think a hit that hard would deploy the air bag?
I bent mine several times till I up graded to 2x2 steel for the arms. This worked well till I cut the whole rocker out. You'll bend those basterts every time if you come down on the outside edge of the slider.
